by LeonSingle

The Model 24 Stielhandgranate was the standard hand grenade of the German Army from the end of World War I until the end of World War II. The very distinctive appearance led to its being called a "stick grenade", or a "potato masher" in British Army slang, and is today one of the most easily recognized infantry weapons of the 20th century. [Wikipedia] The model is in 4 parts and was printed at 1/2 scale, which is half the real life size.

The One Ring / Saurons Ring

Complexity:1
by mieszkolacinski

The One Ring is an artefact that appears as the central plot element in J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of The Rings (1954–55). It is described in an earlier story, The Hobbit (1937), as a magic ring of invisibility. In the sequel, The Lord of the Rings, Tolkien ascribes to the Ring a darker character, with malevolent power going far beyond conferring invisibility: it was created by Sauron the Dark Lord as part of his design to win domination over Middle-earth. [Wikipedia] This design is in ring size M - but can be scaled to any size required. The text details do not show well on the FDM print, so it is advised this is printed with SLA or SLS technologies.

MakerBot Rep 2 stand

Complexity:
by francfalco

I had to raise my printer up from the desk surface to allow a larger filament spool to fit behind - i did have it standing on some old books, but not a great look! So, I created this stand. No support or raft needed. Print at low res. The .stl file attached elevates the printer 100mm (approx) from the desk. However, the stand height is easily adjusted in any 3d software. Print x 4 and you'll need to replace the existing lower corner hex head bolts with 5mm longer thread versions to secure the stands to the printer. Enjoy!

<p>Finished school and it's just been a year since I was first introduced to 3Dprinting. I don't have alot of experience because I love it so much I have been practicing over and over again to improve my Designing skills. Everything I have heard and seen about the 3Dprinting just pushes me further into it as if this is the only thing I would want to do in mylife. It would be really nice if I can get any feedback on some of my desings so I can improve them and at the same time learn new techniques.</p>
