Hellboy's large rock-like right arm that is supposedly the key to hell. I made this for an old Hellboy model. The STL file includes separte parts so it can be printed in large scale.
This model was finished with acrylic paint and PVA glue. See our step by step video tutorial below.
Hell boy is a well meaning demon who was sent to earth by Nazi occultists during the second world war. He was spawned by his hatred for the Nazis and quickly found his way over the the allied forces where he was raised and worked as a paranormal investigator.
This unlikely hero was created by Mike Mignola and has had 2 feature films and featured in an array of comics.
Check out this brilliant finishing technique for Hellboy's Right Hand of Doom:
To print the part 1, print at 0.2mm layer height, with 10% infill. This uses 45.29g of filament and takes 168 minutes. To print the part 1, print at 0.2mm layer height, with 10% infill. This uses 41.75g of filament and takes 163minutes.

This is my full-sized Right Hand of Doom from Fabio Bautista's fantastic model. I started printing the wrist piece using Simplify 3D, but it decided to change all the settings, so I went back to Cura (you can see the split near the bottom), which printed the rest perfectly. I still need to do a bit of post work on it to fill some small holes and get rid of some of the lines, but I think I'm going to leave most of them, they kind of work with the stone texture. I'll post more photos when I have it finished and painted. It only took me about 4 1/2 years to complete it, but its more or less done.
