Late pledge now for instant access. The Menagerie catapults players into an inexplicable realm of existence. Forgotten for generations, the Menagerie is a desert wasteland filled with dangerous creatures, long forgotten secrets, and treachery. The Menagerie is a set of 3D miniatures and a campaign adventure book designed and developed by Arcane Hound to be released in 2022. The 3D miniature STL files come support free or pre-supported and are meant to be printed at home on popular FDM and SLA printers. The adventure comes as a PDF and can be used with many popular roleplaying systems including 5E. In addition to the PDF, an option for a physical book is available that will ship at a later date as a print on demand with DriveThru RPG (at cost).

They seem to be attracted to things from other planes which makes them particularly difficult to avoid once they have found you. The Thorspir tribe are a group of barbarian nomads that call the desert lands around the Ruins of Creation their home. The tribe has an ancient connection with a purple dragon named Hildur and believe it is their sacred duty to keep watch with him over the Ruins. A disease recently devastated the older members of the Thorspir tribe and have left some of the younger and less experienced Tribe members in charge. They seem willing to introduce me to Hildur who I hope to convince to let me into the Ruins of Creation where I hope to find more answers about this strange land. -Orson Elwood’s journal

The frogs of tribe Ooloap use a jerky like plant root they ingest to dehydrate their bodies and turn them as thin as a piece of paper that can be rolled up. Once the paper is placed in water the frog is rehydrated and takes its normal form again. The Abyss is a terrifying place that I hope I will never have to encounter. I have tangled with Demons and Devils in my travels before, but none more do I fear than this butcher. I do not know his true name but some refer to him as Groth The lord of chains. The stories I’ve read about him still haunt me to this day. It states that this creature does not take sides. Demon Lords, Arch Devils, even Gods fear his brutality. Used as an assassin, a torturer, his walls are lined with the bodies and limbs of his victims. What troubles me more is that I believe he may now be in this world, here in the Menagerie. For what purpose, I do not know….yet. -Orson Elwood’s journal

Having recently fallen under the influence of a new dark force named Melphious, her normal thoughtful and measured demeanor has turned quite unpredictable and sinister as of late. The Lamia are the ruling class of the city of Buhnasia in the Menagerie. Normally appearing as a humanoid of some sort, it is unknown to most of the slave population that the city is run by Lamia. Like most creatures in the Menagerie I suspect that they were transported here by some sort of magical means. However, unlike most of the creatures and settlements in the Menagerie they don’t have a portal and pocket dimension they call home. They live in a city in the middle of the harsh deserts of the Menagerie under the direct influence of its magical chromatic moon. -Orson Elwood’s journal

The Satyrs of the Oschillion are a proud people that once ruled their pocket dimension in relative peace and prosperity according to their oral tradition. It seems that someone locked up an undead demon many years ago in a cavern below the Oschillion but the magical dweomers that imprisoned it long ago have slowly broken down. The corruption from the imprisoned creature has slowly creeped up into the waters of the forest and is causing a form of madness, memory loss and chaos among the creatures there. I am hoping to find more information about the creature that is locked up there on my travels so that I might help them return the land to its former glory. -Orson Elwood’s journal

The demon Sazzath was pulled to this plane along with everything else in this pocket dimension and was imprisoned below the Oschilion long ago. The magic that once kept Sazzath contained has started to fade recently, allowing his corruption to seep out and infect the waters in the lush region above ground.

If you ever see large boulders or camels hurling in your direction, you know Dumm is not too far away. I was able to have a conversation with him once.. The Thorspir tribe are a group of barbarian nomads that call the desert lands around the Ruins of Creation their home. The tribe has an ancient connection with a purple dragon named Hildur and believe it is their sacred duty to keep watch with him over the Ruins. A disease recently devastated the older members of the Thorspir tribe and have left some of the younger and less experienced Tribe members in charge. The Abyss is a terrifying place that I hope I will never have to encounter. I have tangled with Demons and Devils in my travels before, but none more do I fear than this butcher. I do not know his true name but some refer to him as Groth The lord of chains. The stories I’ve read about him still haunt me to this day. It states that this creature does not take sides. Demon Lords, Arch Devils, even Gods fear his brutality. Used as an assassin, a torturer, his walls are lined with the bodies and limbs of his victims. The Lamia are the ruling class of the city of Buhnasia in the Menagerie. Normally appearing as a humanoid of some sort, it is unknown to most of the slave population that the city is run by Lamia. Like most creatures in the Menagerie I suspect that they were transported here by some sort of magical means. However, unlike most of the creatures and settlements in the Menagerie they don’t have a portal and pocket dimension they call home. They live in a city in the middle of the harsh deserts of the Menagerie under the direct influence of its magical chromatic moon. -Orson Elwood’s journal

The Satyrs of the Oschillion are a proud people that once ruled their pocket dimension in relative peace and prosperity according to their oral tradition. It seems that someone locked up an undead demon many years ago in a cavern below the Oschillion but the magical dweomers that imprisoned it long ago have slowly broken down. The corruption from the imprisoned creature has slowly creeped up into the waters of the forest and is causing a form of madness, memory loss and chaos among the creatures there. I am hoping to find more information about the creature that is locked up there on my travels so that I might help them return the land to its former glory. -Orson Elwood’s journal

"The frog people of Tribe Ooloap are made up of fierce warriors, skilled craftsmen and capable mages. They reside in a swampy pocket dimension in the west of the Menagerie desert. While some might find them quite barbaric and evil, they can be a great ally if they find you have a common enemy in the people of Buhnasia. From what I can tell the frogs of Tribe Ooloap and the Lamia of Buhnasia have been fighting for decades in small skirmishes that occasionally escalate into full scale war. The frogs of tribe Ooloap use a jerky like plant root they ingest to dehydrate their bodies and turn them as thin as a piece of paper that can be rolled up. Once the paper is placed in water the frog is rehydrated and takes its normal form again. They use this to great effect in order to move entire armies across the desert in a small backpack, although the transformation experience didn’t seem pleasant for the frog." -Orson Elwood’s Journal

Take your aerial battles to the next level with these flying platforms. They are designed to be printed support free on FDM printers. Platform top and bottoms are the same piece that come in 1x1, 2x2 and 3x3 sizes. These tops/bases easily twist onto 6 different shaft lengths that are labeled and can be extended to 12 lengths with the extender piece. Shafts have a flat face that allows them to be printed directly on the build plate.
