In a way I've come full circle with this one. My first published 3D printable model was a much younger, and stoic Batman. So here's a (much like myself) older, and possibly constipated, Batman who's been through some crap. I tried to make him a bit animal-like, with a snarl and stance like he's ready to pounce.
A shout-out to the people at Prime 1 Studio whose 1/3 scale statue gave me the idea.
(And a special shout-out to my friend Wekster whose input regarding the pegs/keys on my Conan model made me refine the one on this model, making it truly support-less; and also my friend Fotis who is always a positive driving force!)
This is fan art, provided for free, and I fully acknowledge the Batman likeness is the property of DC Entertainment (Warner Bros.)
This one doesn't require supports to print, just make sure you have a part cooling fan and you should be okay. The main part and base are printed separately, so if you have two printers you can do some parallel printing to get him done quicker.
I printed mine on an Original Prusa i3 MK3S, at 0.1mm layers and with a 0.4mm nozzle, and it took roughly 24 hours for the main part, and 12 hours for the base.

Incredible model as always. I’ll add more photos once I get time to sand and airbrush him! .6mm nozzle .16 layers 2 perimeter 5% infill (base had 20% infill for 5 or 6 layers before any horizontal solid layers) 60mm/s

Really great model. Printed at 0.12 with a 0.8 nozzle. Painted 6 with acrilics. Very nice.

I love this print! I dont have a big print bed and I think this is my largest print yet at 110mm tall. Finished it off with a Rub n' Buff silver finish over satin black multi-surface acrylic.
Impresso com camada 0.15, tamanho 12 cm, pintura com tintas acrílicas e finalizado com verniz fosco

I received this as a gift from a friend and I painted it using Vallejo model color acrylic paints! This is a really nice sculpt and was a lot of fun to paint!

Thanks for sharing this beautiful model to us! This is the second object I tried to cover in copper and patina. I used some waterbased clearcoat, diluted by 10% and filled it with copper powder. After three coats, drying and polishing, it was sprayed with a mix of 1/2 25% vinegar, 1/4 3% H2O2, 1/4 Salt. Repolished it and voila!
