When the giant king, Thiazi, stole Idunn and her Apples of Immortality from Asgard, the gods' vengeance was swift. Thor crushed Thiazi's skull with the hammer, Mjolnir, while the giant was halfway through transforming from his guise as a great eagle, sending both of his eyes flying from their sockets. Thiazi now wanders blindly through the mist-haunted city of Helheim, though, as a gift to his daughter, Skadi, and as recompense for killing her father, Odin flung the giant's eyes into the heavens where they shine as twin stars, watching all that happens when the sun falls on the Nine Worlds.
This entry includes an OpenTactics stat card. You can find this and other OpenTactics characters in this expanding collection.
This will be one of several monster pieces available for Swords Against Helheim, an OpenTactics-based (semi-)cooperative dungeon-crawler that's currently on the work bench. More on that soon!
