Pirate3D Design Competition
This tank was modeled for fun. It was designed to be a troop transport vehicle. Included in the folder are all the .stl files as well as instructional images. The files are named for their location and function, followed by xX, where X is the number of the specific part needed.
The pieces in this model assemble with a friction or interference fit. Some joints may need to be glued in the finished version. Included in the folder are several images that show how the pieces connect. The connector bars connect to each half of the body. The large turret connects to the right body. 2 wheels connect to each body. Left fender attaches to left body, right fender attaches to right body. Left tread attaches to tread connector and then to left body. Same with right tread. 2 small turrets connect to each tread. Many of these parts will require supports or support material. Print at 0.2 mm layer height, with 10% infill. This uses 3 g of filament and takes 24 minutes.
