Description
This is a replacement piece I modeled and printed for a friend. With this piece they could play the game without having to pull out having to take this shape out of play.
Challenges to modeling: There are some slight tapers that seem to be there for a reason so I had to take some time (and versioning) to eyeball them and get them closer to the original piece.
Printing Details
Challenges to printing: I tried to print twice as one piece but the bottom (surface touching the build plate) kept getting deformed and not quite looking like I hoped. So I took it into MeshMixer and cut it into two and printed them separately. Then I used 3DGloop as a glue and clampled them together.
