Description
The stoneware figure of a Daoist Deity with green, turquise, purple and ochre glazes in porcelain and polychrome enamels was made in the 16th century, Ming Dynasty currently being shown at the British Museum. Possibly made in Shanxi. Original height: 123.3cm (48.5 in). Width: 78cm (30.7 in). Depth: 55cm (21.7 in).
