This is a template-form that I made to make perfekt markings where to drill holes and put handles on my IKEA kitchen drawers. (in my case "ENERYDA", with 64mm between the holes)
- You have to measure the middle of the drawer.
- Make a mark with a erasable pencil.
- "Hang" the template on the edge and slide it until the marking is in the top of the triangle. (that means that you are in the centre).
- Make markings through the two holes further down on the template.
As an IKEA expert would notice - this is just ONE measurement for one type of handle. But you can make it with multiple holes and measures - depending on how high you want the handle to sit.
Sure, took a while to print. But having exaxt markings on the 16 drawers within a minute was excellent! And if it was pre-fabricated and sold for a minor cost at IKEA - I think many would appreciate the help to get perfect measurement for drilling holes for their drawers (or any other applicable furniture).
