A copy after the head of a statue of Jupiter in the Vatican Museum, Rome. Jupiter or Zeus, father of the gods, is represented with characteristically thick-set features. Giuseppe Angelini, a Roman sculptor and restorer, worked at one time under Cavaceppi.
This object is part of "Scan The World".
