I've still not used this gear set. I will report the results as soon as I finish a more extensive remix completely on bearings.

Well, I could just try the helical gears and, despite an excellent smoothness, honestly there is a serious problem, the axial forces induced by the rotation, forces that tend to misalign the gears between them.
So, I designed another set with a double helical profile, also known as Herringbone gears. This type of gears maintains the excellent smoothness of the helical gears, but they are characterized by a self-centering operation.
The joining planes of the two helicoids of each gear are designed to avoid contact between the various elements.
The new files replace the previous ones, which I leave here anyway. They are recognized by the suffix HBG.
