Purement Anti Microbial Filament Competition
My girls wanted me to make something they could use for a tea set, as they didn't think it was fair my son got the last few things I'd printed on my "toymaker". The 5 year-old I can reason with, but if you're going to argue with a 3 year-old you have already lost. For that reason here are Daddy's Fairy Teaset. Print a few goblets, a decantur and add a few of your favorite fairy decorations. Should make for a very nice surprise.
Again, I printed this in PLA, so the dishwasher is a no go. The curves of this make it rough to wash the inside (especially the decanter) so this could be another place where the anti-microbial qualities of the Purement filament might come in handy. I try not to let them use real beverages in these, but I am considering casting the goblets at least in a food-safe epoxy so they can have something neat this summer.
No assembly required. also included is the "goblet2.stl" which is exactly the same as the previous goblet, except with a spot in the bottom for a magnet. I'm going to make them a nice metal tray (that started life as a small cookie sheet) for serving the "Fairy Tea" and the magnets should help everything stay nice and balanced. No magnets on the decanter, even full of water it's too heavy for a little magnet to keep in place.
Print at 0.2 mm layer height, with 10% infill. This uses 28 g of filament and takes 227 minutes.
