!!!LOOK AT REMIX!!! (please)
I was looking for a simple F1 wheel to fit on my Logitech G29 racing wheel, I was disappointed to find there were none. It was for that reason that I designed this. The (probably) only fully 3D printable F1 wheel for the G29 wheel that is simple to install and easy to set up.
For me this print should take just over 26 hours of printing time and since I've just finished the files pictures of the printed parts will follow once I have made them.
Installation involves hot glue and the three original hex nuts that come from the wheel itself. It was designed so the BRASS highlighted section fits where the original logitech logo sits, once again pictures showing more clear instructions are to follow. The male to female adapters have a very tight tolerance to minamse wobble. This may result in the helping hand of sandpaper to help these fit snugly. I made the "revometer" holes able to fit lego circle pips so prefered colours can be used and still have that transparent effect 3D printing doesnt easily offer. The GRIP will need to be printed four times. The HANDLE will need to be printed twice. The REST will only need one printed.
If you want different logos for the wheel the inner diameter of the recess is 60mm and 1mm in depth. I'm going to try and upload more logo's but I won't be able to make them all so if you want one in specific they're not too hard to make in fusion or even tinker cad.
So happy printing and I hope this 3D model will surfice.
Use a high infil as it is a heavily stressed part and the extra infil will save breaks later down the line.
