P.O.V Clock is a project that can be found all over the internet. It is a fun arduino project that let's you play with 3d printing, arduino and optics. For those who do not know, P.O.V Clock is system that uses Led lights, which are programmed to blink in a particular order and frequency so that, while the system spins, the observer can read a message or a pattern made by the blinking lights.
This particular P.O.V Clock was made for a tech workshop. It uses 5 LEDS, an Arduino Uno, a 9v battery for the arduino and a DC motor which spins the system. The object is completely operable. Its minimal design makes it a nice science exhibit.
It is printed in 5 parts: Two parts for the Arduino Base and Three for the motor. If you wish to make it operable I suggest you secure it on a piece of wood.
We have printed in PLA and most of the parts do not require supports. The only part that needs support is the motor base.
Print, solder, code and have fun!
