A sculptor of Kera from 10th had the vision to see the serenity of the daughter of mountain. She sits amidst the sphere of nothingness alongside Shiv on Himalay, a privilege all because of her immense devotion. A sphere within which there is no sense of time and space but solace. Anyone is inclined to receive the same sort of realization just by looking at her portrayal through this sculpture, a moment of consolation for a split second. Parvati is most humane deity one can come across. However, she is only a form of the energy that transforms. When the need comes she can even transform into the personification of terror itself that can even overshadow the tandav of Shiv. But in her mind all she seeks is justice. And when the time comes she can have purity clearer than gold. Her name changes just like the energy embodied in her, maybe that is why she is referred as 'Shakti'.
