The Alba Carolina fortress was built between 1714 and 1738 and is considered to be the most representative, baroque, Vaubian-type star fortress in Romania and one of the largest of its kind in Eastern Europe. The fortress was designed by Italian architect Giovanni Morando Visconti.
This object is part of "Scan The World".
