Designed and made as a replacement cover for my friends Fujifilm XF 27mm f/2.8 lens which has an inside diameter of 39mm.
Taking Inspiration for current commercial springs used in lens caps and others that have been designed, I designed this one which works superbly and snaps off of the main body extremely cleanly for ease of use.
In order to achieve the multi coloured look, these files should be printed at .2mm layer height and in the order of; Red text, then White then the remaining Body. In your slicer settings make sure to have z-hop enabled with enough clearance so that the nozzle does not collide with the 2 layers of either colour text.
To get the files aligned within Cura so that the 3 files can be sliced seperately you must import all 3 files;
1) Right click and select "Select All Files" (Ctrl+A)
2) Select "Merge Models" (Ctrl+Alt+G)
3) Rotate 90 Degrees and then "Arrange All Models" (Ctrl+R), to set it face down on the build plate.
4) Click and Ungroup the models (Ctrl+Shift+G)
Then you have to slice each individual component into g-code by deleting the other 2, undoing the delete once exported the g-code, slicing a different piece, rinse and repeat until all 3 files have been sliced.

This Video by make anything is what inspired the multi-coloured aspect of this design. The video gives really clear instructions on how to achieve this within Cura and hopefully your print will turn out as good as mine did.
Alternatively just print the body to have an engraved FujiFilm lens cap.
