This little lockbox is technically not a puzzle, but I'm designed it so that I could later add a locking mechanism to a puzzle. I'm planning on later creating different types of locks, like a lever lock. I'm a little bit hesitant to try and design a tumbler lock because you need compression springs for those, and I want to make models that are fully 3D printable, so if anyone knows how to make a functioning compression spring or a different way to make a tumbler lock without them, please let me know.
As always, any tips are greatly appreciated, and I would love to see Ideas on what I should make next.
(I focus mainly on making puzzles, but I can also make other Items)

grab the Inner cylinder with the small hole facing up and get the spring.
Put the spring's centerpiece into the cylinder's hole with the square on the spring facing the first extrusion on the cylinder
Spin the end of the clock-wise one full revolution, and hold it at that tension
Start placing the cylinder into the case spring down and place the spring end into the cases spring holder. (Needle nose pliers might have to be used for this)
grab the lock shaft with the latch part facing left. carefully lift the cylinder up without pulling the spring out of place.
With the cylinder lifted, you should now be able to insert the lock shaft into place and lower the cylinder
(optional: This step only used if you don't want the cover coming off) place glue into the 4 holes located at each corner of the case
place the cover over the case, lining up the 4 holes with the 4 nubs on the cover, and making sure the tall shaft goes into the cylinder
You should now be able to place the lid into the bigger opening at the top of the lock, where it should just latch into place, and you're done
