Finally, a snowman that will hold my phone high enough to see it! I don't know why this problem hasn't been solved sooner!
I printed the body in natural clear pla because I am out of white. I printed the hat in black and the arms in black because I am out of brown. All parts were printed with 20% infill and the body was printed with a brim to prevent it from popping off the bed after a few hours of printing. You know cooling and what-not.
I finished the eyes, nose, scarf, mouth, and buttons with a 3d pen which is fun but difficult. To keep the phone from sliding off I used the pen to make a lip on the hat. Was going to use the natural pla to look like snow but it wasn't working so well in the 3d pen so I used black. I will definitely be doing more 3d pen stuff.
Please Please Please post your makes of these I really like the "little kid art project" look of them. Too much fun!
The 3d pen I have is an RP100A but there are other ones out there
