A replacement part for the SL-J2 Technics record player. Instead of having a fully solid platter and giving you a plastic donut to play your 45's with, instead they made a hole in the platter with a spring loaded puck that locks in and out so that you would never lose your 45 adapter. Unfortunately after 30 something years the plastic tabs get brittle and will break.
I ended up making a replacement for it with a 'smooth top' as the grooves built into it were a thoughtful but useless feature.
Ended up working well, but I will take note that this design wont work with all of the 'pop up' variety 45 converters on other Technics. Some have 3 pins, while this one has 2. So make sure you double check.
Made in PLA, and while I used a higher 80% infill so that I can get a more 'frosted glass' look to mine, anything around 15% - 20% will do with either 2-3 parimeters. Use supports to hold out the 'tabs' properly.
