Terracotta Soldier
Here is my accurate design and 3D print of a Terracotta Soldier from the armies of Qin Shi Huang! Over the summer, I visited China and was mesmerized by the amazing army. Every single one of the soldiers was created with such care and detail. I had to create this design and print very precisely, but painting it required me to be even more meticulous. I know it's not the best paint job but I put a lot of time and effort into this project. I did not have the best resources to paint this model, the brushes I own are very cheap and not ideal for 3D prints. I really hope I can get my hands on the Da Vinci brushes so I can improve my skills as an artist for the future!
I know this is not under the theme of "exotic animals" but I really think this model is a perfect candidate for the contest; it is colorful, exotic and wild! I hope you like it!
Printing with higher resolution (lower layer height) will gove more detail in the print.
