It's getting colder as I write this so I decided I'd do my bit to take care of the poor hungry wildlife this winter. My solution was The FoodPod (named because it reminded me of the service pods on the USS Discovery in 2001 A Space Odyessy). It's printed in two halves, the top fits onto the bottom and then locks so it can be hung up. There's also a foot so it can be left on a bird table or windowlege and of course you can use it just as a bowl. If you epoxy it together it'll be even more solid; the prototype has survived being knocked down many times and being bashed about by pigeons, crows and squirrels. You can also use it as a house for mice, hamsters or gerbils or for feeding them too. So many uses!
