This is a lamp shade designed using a mathematical 3D object.
It comes with a holder which fits the IKEA Sekond lamp cord. So you can buy the cord from IKEA (~10€) and use this 3D printed lamp shade. No adjustments have to be made!
The lamp produces a very nice dimmed light and the tetrahedral infill gives it an extra dimension on top of the interesting outter shape. So it looks very pretty when not switched on too!
Printed in PLA with 5% tetrahedral infill and a 2 layer wall.
Layer height was increased to 0.25mm for print time reduction.
It was printed with the mount on the build plate! Therefore, support is necessary but it's worth having a singe piece instead of gluing 2 seperate pieces together. I tried that before but it is really hard to get such a big surface to be perfectly even.
