X-axis Bearing Supported Motor Mount
Compatible with Prusa MK2:MK3S
Uses (1) 625Z Bearing + 2x M3x25mm Bolts + 2x M3s nylon locking nuts
Nylon locking nuts are used to apply pressure to OEM X-Carriage and secure bearing.
Long bolts replace Factory Bolts
Find long bolts from spare
This is an original design for most Original Prusa 3D printers.

I made this model after printing with Y-axis and Z-axis bearing supported mounts. Y and Z mounts are great. Why not improve the X-axis too? There is a serious design flaw with all Original Prusa 3D printers. X, Y, and Z NEMA 17 motors are belt driven. This is great, except the axle shaft end is not supported or secured to anything except the belt. This tension from the belts cause unnecessary wear on the motors, belts, and calibration issues. It is impossible to achieve 'Perfect' Perpendicular Calibration, 0° error, without bearing supports, proper belt tension, and high quality assembly / craftsmanship. After achieving 0° error with Y-axis, I wanted to improve the X-axis too.
Extruding 1.5km of filament within less than a year 'wore' the printer. I began restoring(Upgrading) the worn MK3S components after pushing the printer hard within the first year of owning it.
Goals
Reduce X-axis motor wear (axle shaft)
OEM Mount (Replaces M3x18mm with M3x30mm)
Mount sits flush onto OEM X-Axis MK2:MK3s
Easy install (Press to fit bearing)
Will not disturb original calibration
Improve X-axis, Y-axis, Z-axis calibration by minimum 1° to 0° error.
