Process;
- Split in half in 3D editor
- Gcode generated and printed both side
- Sanded the front of boths
- Epoxied the two pieces together
- Filler-primer'd all the front, twice, back twice
- Sanded again
- Filler primer'd the front again
- Painted 5 coats of white, 3 coats of red, 4 coats of yellow
- Added 2 final coats of Holographic Paint to the back for a nice effect (seems magical)
- Re-touched up white outlines where red accidentally overlap
- Sprayed clear-coat on the front and back to prevent accidental paint damage and enhance overall texture of mask
- Bought/used tulle as a clear fabric to place under the eye to give a white-eye effect but still allow vision. Double layered it to completely prevent the eyes from being seen.
- Modge Podge'd the tulle to the backside
- Bought/used thin white elastic band, cut to size, and sewed it on to create a flexible headband to wear the mask.
