Description
I 3D printed a great big Iron Man! He was printed in 'Coffee' colored PLA (by Dazzle Light) in 5 total pieces. Each piece taking about 17 hours to print.
He weighs nearly a kilogram and takes up about a square foot.
I used Meshmixer tree support and Slic3r support simultaneously.
My Mesh Mixer Tree Support Settings:
Y-Offset: 8mm (rasied 8mm off bed)
Tip Diameter: 0.4 (set to my nozzle size)
Layer Height: 0.15 (use the print layer that you will enter into your slicing program)
Slic3r Support On, detect bridging perimeters on.
