Your spaceships tirelessly patrol the darkest reaches of space in defense of the Empire of Humankind. They deserve no less than the finest of bases on which to stand. This proud example is 32mm across - perfect for all but largest ships of your fleet - and bears a traditional compass rose motif, as well as a handsome Empire Navy sigil on the front. The ridges along the edge are 15° apart, allowing for the rapid calculation of precision course corrections. Space is also provided along the edges to allow you to inscribe the name and class of the ship, or any other information you may feel is necessary to your duties as a commander of the Empire Navy.

This can be printed directly on the plate but I have found it will do better if it is supported at a 30 - 45° angle. To make an inscription for the base, lay out your text and save the file as an SVG, then use Blender to extrude the text and combine it with your base. You can find a tutorial for this here. I added the text in Tinkercadd. Thanks for making me learn a new skill! This was a proof of concept, just to see if I could do it. I'm going to add a hole in the middle for a nail to support the ship. Just have to do one for each ship in the fleet now. Thanks for the great file. I have bought the whole pack now.
