Thing is a ring designed and inspired by my current situation. I am a young designer, based in Glasgow and am currently studying jewellery design at the City of Glasgow College. I am currently applying to different art schools across the UK and taking part in interviews and preparing portfolios. This is a stressful time with balancing confindence along with future plans and ideas. One question that left me feeling clueless was, Where do you see yourself in 3-5 years time? It is challenging to answer this question when put on the spot. The ring shows the circle to to half empty with multiple circles growing from it, these represnt the multple answers, plans, ideas that I had thought of once I left the interviews and also represents that in stressful and nervous situatuons you will always over thing and remember the bad points compared to the positives.
