Description
Large Jurassic ammonite. Locality unknown.
Asteroceras is an extinct genus of cephalopod belonging to the Ammonite subclass. These fast-moving nektonic carnivores lived during the Triassic and Jurassic periods (from 205.6 to 189.6 Ma)
Imaged using an Artec spider scanner and processed using Artec studio 12. The base of the model has been closed to make it watertight as the underside was not accessible to scan.
