I have posted an updated Astrolabicon. Check out the new Astrolabicon Classic! I recommend printing the newer version for an improved experience, but this old version may still help if you are using glass marbles.

Introducing the mind-melting Astrolabicon puzzle, a twist puzzle...with a twist!
...that was terrible. Unlike this puzzle!
Rotate the two halves and move marbles along the track to reorganize them so all like colors touch. This works best (at original scale) with 9/16" or 14mm marbles. I got these, which work really well with the 80mm model of the puzzle. Most chinese checkers marbles should do the trick. You'll also need 12 6x3mm disc magnets like these. I've also added an 82mm version for oversized marbles, but things don't scale perfectlyso results may vary!
The puzzle holds 24 marbles exactly, so here are some common options:
- Difficult - 4 colors, 6 marbles each
- Standard - 3 colors, 8 marbles each
- Beginner - 2 colors, 12 marbles each
I used E6000 adhesive to hold the magnets in place, as well as the center axle (glued to one half). Once it's stuck together the glue isn't really necessary, but it's nice if you plan on taking the puzzle apart again.
See my video solving this puzzle here, and all of my sphericons in action here
Print two identical halves. Supports help for the outside arcs. The center connector piece can be placed loosely, or glue into place on one half.
0.1-0.2mm layer height, 10% Infill, 3-4 perimiters, 1.5-2.5mm solid bottom layers.
*updated with v2. Slightly larger to allow for standard variation of glass marbles*
*11.20.18 update* I'm getting the best results using the 80mm version with 13.5-14mm marbles. Took away some sizes to prevent confusion.
