Australia is on FIRE!
Australia is on FIRE!

The bushfires burning across Australia are visible from space, and the smoke drifting over the Eastern seaboard has reached as far as New Zealand, and Chile.
This design is a snapshot of the areas burning on the 10th of January, 2020. I have tried my best to be as true and accurate as possible, correlating data from multiple source. The intention was to contextualise the magnitude of the disaster occurring; it is a completely different feeling to hold this 3D print in your hands, compared to looking at an image on screen or on paper.
If you would like to support those affected and still fighting I have listed a few services bellow, or share the message.

The colour changes are achieved by pausing and swapping filament multiple times during the print. For convenience, I pre-defined pause points when slicing the model.
