Description
The Monument to the Conquerors of Space was erected in Moscow in 1964 to celebrate achievements of the Soviet people in space exploration. It depicts a starting rocket that rises on its exhaust plume. The monument is 107 meters (351 feet) tall, has 77° incline, and is made of titanium. The Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics is located inside the base of the monument. This relief is on the side of the monument, to show the men and women involved in the progress and journey towards the spaceship.

Printed in two parts, fused with Loctite 2-part plastic bonding epoxy, and the seam filled with the PLA-in-the-dremel method (i.e. poor mans friction welding). Total print time ~41 hours. Marble PLA, 210/60C, 70mm/sec, .12mm layer height.
