Description
This Italian urn depicts Furies reaching for Oinomaos's horse's reins and therefore summoning his death, making it look like an accident. Oinomaos was known for challenging and killing his daughter's suitors, until he was defeated by Pelops, possibly starting the tradition of the Olympic Games.
