Description
Ekaterina Belashova (1906 - 1971) was a Soviet sculptor, People's Artist of the USSR in 1963 and the chairwoman of the board of the Artists' Union of the USSR for the last three years of her life. She was known for her pedestals and has portrayed many people in her work, including Pushkin and Chopin (her inspiration).
