Now with this versatile and exciting 3D printable construction model, and an endless supply of 250 ml slim cans, your imagination can run wild to create places for you to put things.
Go ahead - find your inner child and start building! Not only are you creating very useful products, you’re upcyling and re-inventing something from one of the most common items on the planet.
I printed these at 80mm/sec, PLA temperature 225C, 10% Infill, and supports from build platform only, 0.3mm layer height.
These blocks were made to join 250ml cans together in six planes to make something useful. In the design there is a small hole if you would like to glue your can once its installed. I filled mine with sand (to give structure stability) and assembled them into various useful objects.
When cans are sand filled and glued to all 3-4 can entries on a block. I made a chair with this setup and it was solid and held me, 180pounds sitting on it. Also made a stand for a very heavy Stereo. Very stable.
