Description
The inscription over this sculpture states: "Since 1909 from the Gatchinsky military field, the first Udian flights left into the sky. During the many years in which the Gatchinskaya Military Aviation School school has been active, it released about a thousand aircraft specialists.
In the sky over the Gatchina School, P. Nesterov, E. Kruten, V. Chkalov, L. Zvereva, heroes of the USSR M. Slepnev IM. Babushkin."
