Deepdwellers have a holistic, nomadic and cooperative society, with which to survive the depredations of the Waada and the Daimoi. Deepdwellers are source-gifted, like kaabal humans, but as some source-gifted are attuned to the weather and environment, so the abilities of deepdwellers are linked to the darkness and the underground.
Deepdwellers have smallish, stunted bodies, with highly developed ears and large - if near-blind - eyes. They have enhanced senses to compensate for their poor eyesight, including special senses attuned to the earth and caves. They wear thier white hair in long, draping dreadlocks that mimic the stalactites and erosion marks on the stone.
