Preserved is a slightly under a life-size head of a youth, carved in the round. The hair is thick, curly and articulated. That frames his oval face in a symmetrical way. The eyes are carefully depicted with heavy upper and lower lids. The eyes are carved gently curved. Both ears are emphasised well with the ear channels created by drill work.
