Simple Easter Egg puzzle in disguise. Pat Meehan Designed Incognito Egg. 9 print files.
Designed for child 3-6 yrs.
I have uploaded a photo of a 50% scale test print of an early version of the 6 egg pieces. They do fit to gether as I had envisioned, but the wall thickness is a little thin in this version and there was some warping in the wall of the middle red ring. The uploaded model on MyMiniFactory is a more robust design. When I receive my new prints I will upload them.
I suggest downloading all of the part files and print them separately with the color suggested in the title of each file. For example incognito-egg-orange-part-9-of-9-tinkercadeaster.stl is an orange part. Then when combined the finished product looks like a decorated Easter Egg.
Attempts to print multiple parts of the same color at the same time failed th the maker station I used. Single part printing was sucessful so far.
The Ultimaker Cura software suggests that the medium print speed with a 0.1 layer height and a 50% infill rate would take almost 3 days to complete. Printing parts separately would be faster & require less support.
