Description
This is a splint for people with the loss of hand function. It fits over the metacarpal part of the hand and stays in position by clamping force. Many different pens can be fitted and the angle can be adjusted.
Tip: If the tension is too much you can open the splint by gently heating it with a heatgun.
This product was developped for and collaboration with patients of the University Hospital of Gent (UZ-Gent).
Printing Details
Printed in ABS, 0.1mm layer thickness, use a brim to print the splint.
I recomend a brief acetone treatment to close the pores. This way the print is easier to clean after long term use.
