Description
In Greek mythology, the Nereids are sea nymphs (female spirits of sea waters), the 50 daughters of Nereus and Doris. They are often portrayed with Poseidon and can be friendly and helpful to sailors in search of treasures. This portrayed Nereid is in the Summer Garden in St Petersburg.
