Description
My Son wanted his pencils to open in their holder the way his mothers pen set did, so I made a quick holder with a hinge on the back that uses one of the penciles for the pivot. Holes are 8mm and there are 51 slots counting the hinge. Added a shorter version than is in the pictures to save material, print faster. Cleaned up the small random 1mm hole in the middle on the original as well.
Printing Details
Nothing special, no supports needed. In the one in the pictures I did no infill tp save material. With 2 perimeters and the outer walls are pretty flimsy. If I do it again I will probably up the perimeter by one and add 10-15% infill.
