Description
A beardless man holds the lead of a large hunting dog. Two attendant in front of him carry nets and bundles of stakes for trapping animals.
This panel was one of several lining the wall of a sloping corridor. It showed a procession of men carrying equipment and leading animals ready for a hunt. Ashurbapinal may have used his corridor on his way to the royal game parks at Nineveh.
