Speargun

This is a working speargun. Requires some assembly skill. Easy but awesome! Print and use at your own risk! Depending on the band strength, this sucker can skewer flesh and drywall. Designed to use standard wood shish kabob skewers as spears.
Requires a few non-printable items. Ie. Rubber band, string, 1/16" rod (for hammer shank), a standard click-pen spring, a 1/4" x 3/16" piece of sheet metal for hammer tooth, and of course, shish kabob skewers for spears!
Always wear eye protection and follow basic shooter-safety procedures. Enjoy!
Print 2x connectors. Connect parts with hot glue or other glue.
Print as many ball spear tips as you need for number of spears.
Heat up and insert the hammer tooth into the hammer end by letting it melt halfway in. Hold hot metal with needle nose pliers when inserting. Do this prior to assembly.
Insert spring before hammer shank. Fold shank ends down to keep in place. Careful not to apply too much pressure so as not to break the printed parts. I recommend bending one end of the pin first, inserting it, and then bending the remaining end.
Tie rubber band ends in a knot and attach string above the knots so the string doesn't slip off the band.
Cut string groove in spear shank using a 45 degree cut so string won't slip out. Place cut on the spear shank based on desired tension. Further down the shank for more power.
Cut hammer-tooth slit at a 90 degree angle on the end of the spear. Fit spear in first, mark hammer-tooth location, and then add the hammer-tooth cut in the spear end.
Wear goggles when shooting and enjoy!
