Star Wars/Disney Kyber Crystal Display
Star Wars/Disney Kyber Crystal Display

These parts were made so that I could display all of the available kyber crystals from Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. There are a total of 17 different kyber crystals (at the time of posting this) across the 6 different colors.
There are two levels to this display. The lower level holds 8 crystals while the upper lever holds 9, including a spot in the middle for the rare black kyber crystal (the only one I do not have). Compared to the crystal height in the lower level, the middle crystal spot on the upper level is raised 12 mm and the two on either side are raised 10 mm for the 8-ball crystals (Yoda 8-ball and Vader 8-ball). The remaining 6 spots in the upper level are 8 mm higher compared to the lower level display pieces. This was done to ensure the crystal cases on the bottom do not obstruct the crystals on top and to accomodate the maximum height inside my display case.
I included the files used in my display and some single pieces for those of you that wish to customize your display.
Stl files:
- Top kyber crystal holder, right (5 spots including black crystal spot)
- Top kyber crystal holder, left (4 spots)
- Bottom kyber crystal holder, left
- Bottom kyber crystal holder, right
- 57 mm column
- Single crystal holders for either 12 mm, 10 mm, or 8 mm crystal height (measured from the top of the holder base)
- Single crystal holder with or without beveled edges (rear edge is not beveled)
All pieces were printed on a Prusa i3 Mk3S in PLA at 0.2 mm layer height and 10% infill.
Note: It is recommended that you print the crystal holders (main pieces) with a 20% infill or at least 4 top layers to reduce defects on the top, flat, surfaces. I had a few but they were minor. You may also print the columns with 0% infill but make sure your bridge settings are optimized. I printed one with 0% infill but the top surface was warped.
