Description
Bronze work 3 m high and 600 kg, inaugurated on 11 August 1999 and located in Biarritz on the plot Etienne Ardoin, on the Avenue Foch. It was created by Francisco Leiro (born in Cambados-Spain in 1957). The donor is Pierre Levrai (New York / Biarritz), and according to legend, a woman from the Basque Country, a peasant or fisherman's daughter, Aided by the winds, the sea and the sky, it saves the crew, and from its love for the captain, Biarritz, the host city, was inspired by the wide -Itsasoa lano dago ...
