Marble torso of an emperor, perhaps Titus or Domitian, wearing a tunic, leather corselet and kit, and a bronze breastplate decorated in relief on the chest with a gorgoneion (to avert evil), and the abdomen with a Roman soldier and a barbarian captive flanking a military trophy, the pteryges (kilt feathers) ornamented with a gorgoneion, eagle, ram's head, lion's head, and a starburst.
