Snowshoe for a tripod with a 8mm tube. It may be possible to scale the part to work with other sizes. It's designed for fairly dense snow, and a lightweight setup (they will come off with too much weight).

This design seems to function decently on the snow in limited testing. However, when the tripod is strapped to a backpack, the feet tend to catch on straps, which twists them around and can pull them off. I'm planning to redesigning this part to address some of these issues.

Instructions

Rotate 30 degrees (to make the wings horizontal) before printing.

It probably won't work in PLA, it needs to be flexible enough to attach..
