What is This?
This is a little stand for my state championship medals. The stand just snaps onto the medal, but you can get the medal out fairly if needed.
Why I Designed This
I am 13, and over the three years that i have been a cyclist, I have racked up a TON of medals! I have 5 USA cycling state championship medals, and i wanted to seperate these from the rest. Of course, i jumped right into fusion 360 and I started designing.
How I Designed This
So to design this, I went down to my photo scanner, I scaneed the medal, and opened it in InkSkape, as i dont have any fancy programs like Photoshop or Illustrator. I then crop it out, traced the medal, and exported as an SVG. I then opened it in Fusion 360 and extruded it up to the proper height. I then used The combine feature, and cut away at a block. A few fillets later, and an addition of a base, i had the stand!
