Description
This is a raindrop hitting the pavement frozen in time.
It was modeled in Blender using the fluids modeler. Blender's fluids engine tends to impose a square symmetry on things. The initial drop was spherical, but it manifests a square character when it hits the ground that you wouldn't expect. But Blender is free and super easy to use so it rocks.
